City Trutnov lies in the Giant Mountains on the river Upa a is also the district capital of Hradec Kralove Region in northeastern Bohemia. Krakonošovo square is the main sight of the city which lies only a few steps from Hotel Adam. Trutnov offers throughout the year many cultural events and festivals such as the world famous Obscene Extreme Festival and Open Air festival. Trutnov is also the starting point for many biking and hiking trails.
